President Don Kidd opened the meeting at 4:30 pm. The meeting was held at the Lockheed Martin
offices located at Space Center Drive. A list of attendees is included at the bottom of these minutes.

General Bernard A. Schriever Memorial Essay Contest
Roy Griggs provided an update on contest activities. Twenty four essays were received. Twelve papers
were selected and a second round of judging took place with the top six papers being determined.
General Hyten will announce the winners at a future date. The winning papers will be published in Air
and Space Power Journal.
