Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

The Chapter’s CFC application to be listed as a charitable organization was approved. Former Sijan President Dave Shiller submitted an application for the Sijan Chapter to be listed as a charitable organization to receive CFC contributions. Individuals making CFC contributions can allocate a portion or 2 all of their donations to our Chapter. Vice President for Aerospace Education Tim Tichawa attended initial training for this year’s campaign. Rules for being a recipient were discussed (can and cannot do’s). Chapter leaders will develop a campaign plan to get the word out to the Wings and Air Force Bases about our new status. The 2015 CFC Campaign will run from September through January.

State AFA Meeting

Vice President Linda Aldrich and Tim Tichawa will attend the upcoming AFA State Meeting. Chapter activities will be presented. AFA National Executive Vice President Mark Barrett will be attending the meeting.
