 President’s Comments/Update (Doc Apodaca)

• AF Ball – We are moving!  Big thanks to Caty for leading the charge.  Talks with leadership across the Front Range are happening now!
• Update on Constant Contact: Met with Kristen and Linda a couple weeks back.  Kristen had some good ideas to consolidate some of the existing groups
• Theme for membership meeting: Update on Storytelling?  Still in a holding pattern until AF Ball is in smooth movement
• Last Full Measure – Trying to work with local theater to get a free showing (maybe do it as a sponsorship; should find out soon)
• Want to work more with JROTC and cadet programs at CO colleges—good start; want to brainstorm for better ways to show them the importance of being involved with AFA
• Schriever essay contest went well; even with the emphasis on Space, Doc thinks we should still do it; handed out awards with Gen Whiting.
