The Air Force Association (AFA) is an independent nonprofit organization that openly and strongly supports the United States Air Force, and the need for aerospace power as a strong factor in our nation’s defense. One of our missions is to support the total Air Force family and promote aerospace education.  In concert with AFA’s Air Museum Initiative, AFA has partnered with the U.S. Space & Rocket Center (USSRC) in Huntsville, Alabama.  The USSRC opened its doors in 1970 in Huntsville, Alabama.  In addition to the museum and other facilities, the USSRC conducts three STEM-related camps.
