Bruce Hall, Sijan Chapter VP of Government Relations, celebrates the holidays with General Glen VanHerck, Commander, NORAD/NORTHCOMM and General James Dickenson, Commander, USSPACECOM at Peterson SFB.

On Saturday afternoon, December 3, 2022, AFA Lance P. Sijan Chapter members Bruce Hall and Jennifer Miller attended the NORAD/USNORTHCOM Commander’s Holiday Reception at The Hub (formerly The Club) on Peterson Space Force Base, on behalf of Chapter President Paul Bailey. In addition to N/NC Commander Gen. Glen D. VanHerck, USAF, and his wife Marilyn, Gen. James H. Dickinson, USA, Commander of U.S. Space Command, and his wife Angie joined the VanHercks in receiving guests.

Bruce and Jennifer exchanged greetings, chatted, and passed AFA business cards to other guests, including El Paso County Commissioner Longinos Gonzalez Jr., motivational speaker and former AFA Sijan Chapter President Kristen Christy, aide for Constituent Affairs in the office of Sen. Hickenlooper Jacks Pastuer, Senior Enlisted Leader of the Operations Directorate of U.S. Space Command CMSgt Jacob C. Simmons, and immediate past President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA-RMC) Philip Kwong. Phil stressed the current NDIA-RMC initiative to collaborate with other defense and space support organizations, including our chapter, wherever our goals coincide.

Other notables recognized were former Deputy Commander of US NORTHCOM and NORAD U.S. Element Vice Commander Lt. Gen. Edward G. Anderson, USA (Ret.),  

The Hub arranged a sumptuous hors d’oeuvres buffet and beverages. A live ensemble provided a musical background.
