Don’t miss out on the 2019 Colorado State Air Force Association Convention and Awards Banquet!
Two AFA events are coming up on Saturday, August 17th that need your attendance and support. First, the State Convention Business Meeting will be at the Radisson Denver-Aurora, 3155 South Vaughn Way, Aurora, CO beginning at 1:00 p.m.—all AFA members are welcome to attend. This business meeting is critical for a discussion of the issues that will be coming up for a vote at the National Convention in September, many of which have a direct impact on the way we conduct business in the field. We will have call-ins from some of the candidates for national offices and will confirm who our delegates to the National Convention will be. We plan to have discussions about the effectiveness of the four Colorado Chapters and need your input. Secondly, the Awards Banquet is scheduled for Saturday evening, reception at 6:00 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m. at the Radisson. The Mile High Chapter is hosting this year and has planned a beautiful evening to honor outstanding AF active and reserve personnel and cadets from our Colorado units, in addition to our own amazing AFA volunteers from across the state. Let’s make sure we have a huge crowd to show our appreciation for our Air Force personnel and the folks who make all the support possible. The Chapter has worked hard to make this a very special event and we hope all our Colorado AFA membership, Community Partners, and Air Force leadership will attend.
