SnoFest 2016

For the 12^th straight year Barbara Binn, Sijan Chapter Secretary, and her husband Brian represented Lance P. Sijan Chapter at the annual SnoFest held at the Keystone Resort in the heart of the Colorado Rockies.  The event, which occurred from January 22 to 24, is a thank you to the military community, providing discounted prices for a multitude of activities, and hosted by the Force Support Squadrons from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Peterson, FE Warren, Buckley, and Schriever Air Force Bases.  For the tenth year in a row, the Sijan Chapter was a sponsor for SnoFest. Barbara reported that an new addition this year was a huge snow fortress for the children along with the traditional activities of ski and snowboard races, tubing, sleigh rides, wine tasting  and the hospitality tent with snacks and hot chocolate.  If you haven’t ever been to SnoFest, be sure to put it on your calendar for next year!
